Association for IDEA (Integration, Dignity, and Economic Advancement) Nepal is a non-governmental organization (NGO) at a national level, operating on a not-for-profit basis. Led by individuals with lived experience of Hansen’s disease/ leprosy, it’s an organization founded and managed by those within the affected community. Established in 1998 A.D., its primary focus is preserving the dignity of individuals affected by leprosy. Essentially, it’s an organization created and managed by individuals affected by leprosy, dedicated to supporting the dignified livelihoods of others in similar circumstances.
