Association for IDEA (Integration, Dignity, Economic Advancement) Nepal is a national level not for profit making non- government organization operated by the people who have experienced leprosy for the people affected by leprosy to support them to restore their dignified life.
Since the organization is founded by the people affected to the people affected, the organization is tirelessly working to reduce the discrimination and stigma related to leprosy. Advocacy for the dignified life, psychosocial care for good mental health supports for the perfect well- being and sound livelihood for the people affected by leprosy are the major activities conducted by the organization. Of late, the organization is present across the country through the provincial committees for the extension of the service, upliftment of the dignity and the reduction of the discrimination.
IDEA Nepal is dedicated to the principle that individuals whose lives have been challenged by Hansen’s disease (leprosy) have the right to full and equal participation in society, including the right to equal justice, equal opportunity, and equal dignity without discrimination
